Privacy, in plain language.
TrueTourer is responsible for personal information submitted through this site. Questions, withdrawals and rights requests can be sent to hello@truetourer.com.
Travel introductions
When you request an introduction, we use the details you provide to assess your Nordic trip inquiry, contact you about it and, with your explicit permission, share it with one or more selected travel specialists that may be a relevant fit. Each specialist will provide information about its own processing and may act as a separate data controller after receiving it.
We collect your name, email address, whether you are a traveller or advisor, destination interests, travelling party, timing, expected trip length, journey preferences, estimated trip investment and your recorded consent. We do not ask for net worth or infer personal wealth.
The legal basis for the introduction and sharing is your consent. You can withdraw it before we share the inquiry by emailing us. We may receive a commercial referral fee if an introduction leads to a booking.
Retention and recipients
Inquiries are retained for up to 12 months. We may retain a minimal record longer where needed to document consent, resolve a dispute or meet a legal duty. Access is limited to people operating TrueTourer and the selected travel specialist or specialists named in an introduction.
Guide updates
Email updates use a separate, optional consent. Declining them does not affect a travel introduction, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in Sweden that is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Site operations
Hosting and database suppliers may process information on our behalf under contractual safeguards. If a service involves processing outside the EU/EEA, we use an applicable transfer mechanism and disclose material changes here.
